    How to create AWR report ? How to read AWR report , could you pls Provide one sample for it

      Hi Vivek,

      We can generate basic AWR Report using below script.

      @?/rdbms/admin/awrrpt.sql

      This script will ask you the start snap_id and end snap_id. Also you have options to select html or text report.

      I will publish an article on How to read AWR report with sample.

      Oracle’s AWR collects and maintains set of statistics as snapshot at regular intervals. The default interval is of one hour. Whenever Oracle takes this snapshot it assign a Unique snapshot ID i.e. Snap ID. Whenever we generate AWR report, oracle asks us for start time and end time of the report. So begin snap_id is beginning snapshot id of the report and end snap_id is end snapshot id of the report.
